the main point is to reduce the amount of visible verts you have to fuck with
generally sculpting is used in a different workflow, making a sculpt and then making a new low polymesh out of it

It would definitely add more depth to NZ landscapes but I don't care if they don't have anything like this
There are still occasional stone buildings like churches from the late 19th mostly within towns, and random buildings like old stone hotels and train stations but the country is so young you can't really expect more and it's ok. The scenery is still world class
