Previously: Welcome to /flag/ + /extraflags/, a lovely general for users to discuss flags, Extra Flags, and autistic activities while funposting.
>What is Extra Flags? Extra Flags is an open-source userscript that lets you choose regional flags, like states and provinces, to add the already existing national flags on Any Forums, Any Forums, /sp/, and /bant/.
we need a proper installation guide for phone users
Isaiah Edwards
it's exactly the same, you just need a mobile browser that supports extensions
Jose Turner
there's still like 1 person a month asking how to install on phone though, it'll be helpful to have a little sentence or two somewhere on this page flagtism.gitlab.io/Extra-Flags-for-Any Forums/ explaining how they can do it. Just so we don't have to keep explaining to them all the time
Jaxson Harris
>it'll be helpful to have a little sentence agree but i've no idea who is in charge of that website alternatively we could write it in the OP
Cameron Bailey
There should also be a disclaimer that you can't do it on iPhone. I've put in a ton of effort trying to do it but I think extensions aren't possible with it.
Ryder Parker
the code for the gitlab page is in the repository it seems, Trieste could add it easily
that's disappointing, at least we only need an android guide then
Alexander Rogers
>the absolute state of apple so it's entirely impossible to install another browser on an iphone? what a meme
then he will see us
Eli Wood
no you can download plenty of other browsers. Its just that extensions don't work on them. Maybe I'm just retarded but I can never get them to work. I believe apple has extensions in development for safari however. They probably just want a monopoly on them so everyone will have to use safari if they want them.
Jose Lewis
so is that the only way of installing extraflags on android? you need a browser that supports extensions (e.g. tampermonkey)?
Jacob Bailey
so if you try to download yandex on iphone extensions on it don't work? weird
the only way to install extraflags is to add a monkey extension on a browser, the difference is just that on desktop every browser supports extensions but on mobile only some do
chrome is famous for NOT supporting extensions on mobile lol it's exactly why phoneposters struggle with extraflags and i'm not sure about firefox either

Well, It can't be that difficult, I'll try installing it on my phone and write the steps down of how to do it and if i thought it was hard, if enough of us do it then we can figure out the simplest way to do it
Jayden Powell
guys there's absolutely no difference for installing on phone, the only difference is that you can use only some browsers and not anyone the other steps are the same: -install some monkey extension from the chrome store -install the script -browse int and select
Grayson Thompson
To be fair, I really don't remember how I installed it, I just remember that I already had tampermonkey on chrome and stumbulled upon the script, pressed 2 buttons and had extraflags installed

Which monkey extension is better for Yandex on mobile?
Levi Gutierrez
i use Violent, can't remember why i installed Violent instead of Tamper but at the time i must have noticed that it works better or maybe it's just my memory tricking me
Luis Adams
I'll use violent then, if it works I'll post with huechuraba flag
Benjamin Hill
nigger
Jordan Smith
Nope, I can't figure out how to do it. I tried yandex, kiwibrowser, chrome; installed tamper, violent and grease monkey for the extension but I can't even install extraflags on mobile
Well in the meantime, any good song suggestions? I like to listen to music and videos that only need audio to be enjoyed when working on flag things. Also the template work is solid for now, finished up to all the ones that start with G
official website of Namangan vilayat namangan.uz/uz/ somewhere in the news some photos have that kind of official local government logo, which has less pixels than a serbian war video
the cross looks better on the clean one, but the details on the castle are better on the gloss one
Carter Scott
This one
Robert King
I wonder if this means I should go back and redo all of the ones I just scaled down in the past.
Owen Edwards
clean pixels have sense with simple flags, but the details of a scaled down are unbeatable for me it's the scaled one
Austin Peterson
nah, it's a shitload of pointless work. 99,999% of extraflags are scaled down
Evan Butler
I generally just scale them down and then I'll add a few clean pixels for detail. I guess its less accurate that way but it makes the flags look way better imo.
Michael Harris
I've noticed the NB and NL,CA flags all have the clean look (not downscaled)
It's almost been a week since my issues were posted.
Luke Parker
It sometimes takes time, if I recall correctly my north korea changes took like 2+ weeks
Kevin Reyes
Trieste havin a triesta (a Trieste siesta or a Trieste fiesta, you decide)
Chase Scott
Just noticed I forgot the jihadi flag when remaking the pol memeflags, does anyone have a decent looking version of it?, because the pol one is just pure ass
Mason Ross
Nothing better than a Trieste siesta before the Trieste fiesta
Actually if you count all the filled in flags its 4/10 finished
Carter Robinson
it's best to use interpolation when dealing with circles instead of just having a solid outline (national flags for reference). I just cropped out that badge resized it to 7x7px then messed with its colour levels and contrast to get this effect. it's also a lot easier than drawing every flag
if you're confident you can make the flags better then go ahead
