AXE thread

>Is presented as a massive threat
>Liiiike duuuude, really massive threat
>Fails at genociding Arakko
>Jobs in one panel
Is Uranos Apocalypse's father? Because he looks like him, and he jobs like him

Yeah they handled him too easily in this issue.

If he's presented as massively powerful:
>Why is this shitty OC who came out of literally nowhere so effortlessly OP? Makes no sense.

If he's presented as a mild to moderate threat:
>Why is he such a jobber? Shouldn't he be more difficult to defeat?

This is part of the reason why new villains never go over.

LIKE SON, LIKE FATHER

It's going to be a fake out
Also the storytime is still up go discuss it there instead

probably because they rarely have time to develop
but then again, writers rarely feel like writing an epic that would involve in the main villain for an arc or few

No, dfuck muties

This really felt rushed. This entire issue came off like a summary of a big event rather than being the event

only 2 issues left, with the #5 being next week

2 issues left and an Omega issue to wrap everything up

You hate muties so much yet the main event mini has been storytimed in the mutie thread lmaoooo

>Fails at genociding Arakko
Nigga he literally spent 40 minutes just arranging body parts into a giant X while his robots were killing shit
He was barely trying

you fucking meanie. That's x-actly why everyone hates muties

Excuses...

He didn't job in one panel he got hit by double Omega power that distracted him long enough to get shot with own god guns.

>he jobbed himself
even better

Well, 5 issues left counting the one shots. And there's still more tie in issues

I mean Darkseid has been fucked up with his own Omega Beams before, getting hit with all your planet-wrecker sun beams at once gotta sting.

I found it hard to believe that Stark could just hack his weapons like that. The eternals were presented as these innaccesible gods whose domains the avengers couldn't even enter and suddenly Tony can just hack this ancient celestial machinery that he had never interacted with before? Like maybe you could argue that it's because of his connection to the celestials through his celestial armor and his participation in the creation of the progenitor, but they never present it this way in the issue. He just shows up and hacks it. Also a bunch of lasers from his armory are apparently enough to disintegrate Uranos. I thought he would resist longer.

beside in very particular scenario, you can't have a capeshit issue fully dedicated to one fight

those three one-shots are going to be character-driven stuff probably considering the non-lettered preview for Avengers was the Iron man has a PTSD dream about how much he sucks which is a common Solo Iron Man issue since armour wars

>Also a bunch of lasers from his armory are apparently enough to disintegrate Uranos.
first off those are portals to dead suns and shit so it's not like they can just mass produce lazers this strong. Second he's not vaporizedas we can still clearly see him kneeling in the third panel, he's just been hurt enough so that he can be put back in prison
