Also, yes. Shadow takes Amy out to places, but that's mostly because Sonic doesn't know the first thing about how to take somebody out for a romantic night.
Look on the bright side, if you can't get Amy back to normal you can always wait for her to grow up again. One of the perks of being immortal.
