As bad as Family Guy is, it is still not the worst adult animated show on TV.
It's magnitudes above Brickleberry, Big Mouth, Fairy Tales & Mr. Pickles. It's also better than the entirety of FX's animation block. It's not as bad as Bordertown either. On an episode by episode basis it and South Park aren't that far apart in terms of quality for the last eight years.
It attracts more hate than some other shows due to its massive popularity and success, despite it being better than the majority of adult cartoons.
It simply ran out of people praising it when new episodes come out. The hate has always been here its just noone can defend the quality of the new episodes.

Watch the locked in the vault, stewie sees a therapist, Brian becomes a real estate agent and hurricane episodes. Family guy has made some real trash. Though I honestly don’t hate family guy and agree that South Park has gotten real bad since season 11. The two shows are on par.
