why is disney so shit?

No one cares. Why do you Disney cult members think everyone else is as obsessed with your "lifestyle" as you are?

I grew up in California, I'm about your age, and I've never met a mother fucker who worked at Disney that wasn't a degenerate autist.

What did you think of the D23 announcements for WDW?

Honestly, I have no idea. People blame Chapek, and that's fair, but we started on this road before he got here.
Cool, thanks for coming to my thread.
Snore. Honestly, last time they announced plans that were WAY more concrete, and most of them didn't happen. Soooo, I feel like most of these won't either. Though, i do hope we get Zootopia in DAK, though. No idea why we haven't yet. It writes itself.

Wonder what the mood with the cast is. Imagine a lot of cast members tuned in or got summaries.

A lot of them must have spotted that Disney isn't going to start building any new rides for several years, whilst Universal have a new park opening. Doesn't seem to be much sign of the random street entertainers being restored either.

Do your co worker rape or grope tourists in Disneyland?

Yeah, entertainment at WDW took a pretty major blow, and I don't think it's ever coming back in full.

Defuk is a Chapek help a zoomer pls

Kill yourself, tripfag

CEO of Disney
no u

Why does the Avengers ride look so lame when they could have done something on par with Rise of the Resistance? Why does it feel like they’re cheaping out on Marvel stuff compared to Star Wars in the parks?

Why are people on co like this?

Reading this thread while in the TDA parking structure Anahaeim > Orlando lolololol

Having moved to an hour away from Orlando last year, I’ve come into contact with a lot of Disney Adults in my time. Would you consider cast members to generally have the same strong (perhaps too strong) fandom even or do you guys notice that some guests seem to take Disney obsessions too far. Do you find it a growing trend of arrested development guests at the parks?

Do you think Universal is going to overtake Disney in attendance or quality in the near future? Seems like Disney is charging up the ass while cheapening the experience while Universal is actually being innovative.

It's the over reliance on screens. Screesns will NEVER replace practicals sets and effects. they just can't.
You're not wrong
I'd say it's about 50/50. If you're a CM for long enough, you start to lose the Disney Adult energy, even if you stay a fan. And yeah, since the pandemic, Guests have lost their ability to function.
Because we're a bunch of cartoon watching manchildren
Quality, yes, attendance, Mmm... I'm less sure.

Because Joe Rohde had a "No furries allowed" rule when it came to what kinds of attractions you could do in the park, since furry stories are more about human issues (with Zootopia being primarily a fable about racism) instead of nature and conservation.

Now that he's gone, they can yiff freely.

Does Judy Hopps count as a Disney princess?

>Doesn't seem to be much sign of the random street entertainers being restored either.

Former WDW Equity performer here, all streetmosphere/trunk shows are most likely never coming back, unless it has an actual stage (Monsters Laugh Floor, Turtle Talk, Frozen) it isn't coming back. Despite what people say it was always doomed under Chapek who doesn't understand the appeal of live entertainment and covid was just the convenient excuse to kill it all and cherry pick what comes back.

I'm glad I'm out, working at WDW is a pretty fearful place. OP does characters which is a different type of job since he doesn't have to sweat out annual contracts like we did.

holy shit, did you also do mrs. incredible then there are some people groping/slapping your ass?

Honestly, I don't buy that. Lots of IPs in DAK don't showcase realistic animal behaviors. Is Festival of the Lion King educational? Pandora?
Zootopia isn't realistic when it comes to it's depictions of animals, but it could 100% be used as a vehicle to teach about different species.
Nope. Still love her tho
Yeah, Monster user talks a lot about how Equity Performers are always on thin ice. Never understood why Bobby C was put in charge of the parks when he clearly hates them.
Yes and yes. It was fun watching them get kicked out.

Are you a furry? How hot are some of those costumes? I feel like they must be dehydration central.

>Are you a furry?
Mmm. I don't consider myself one. I don't have, like, a fursona or anything, and I don't interact with the fandom in any meaningful way. but I do like animal character.
and the porn can be pretty good.
>How hot are some of those costumes? I feel like they must be dehydration central.
Very. they 100% are.

Any tips for someone disabled/with arthritis going to a park? I've heard the motor scooters Disney provides are horribly underpowered. Also that I can cut certain chunks of some lines

Is Disney struggling in hiring enough people? Has Disney considered raising wages so then cast members can make more than Walmart cashiers?

>Honestly, I have no idea. People blame Chapek, and that's fair, but we started on this road before he got here

Yeah, as much as people want to blame Chapek, I think he's only 50% of the problem at most. There's a whole host of other issues that very few people seem to want to address, so it's easier to blame one person.

If you are going with a pal, just get a regular wheelchair. the electric once are easier, but they are SUCH a hassle. Also, the disability pass doesn't work with mobility issues. If you want one, you'll need another reason.
>Is Disney struggling in hiring enough people?
Yes
>Has Disney considered raising wages so then cast members can make more than Walmart cashiers?
No
There seems to be this big push to turn WDW into a generic, high end, luxury resort, and I don't understand why. Like appeals to a very specific, and huge, niche, but for some reason they see Hilton and Four Seasons, and want what they have.

How are crowds? Are guests getting fed up with the drop in quality? Are you reconsidering your employment with the company?

He formally called it the "No pants"/"No clothes" rule. Lion King and Jungle Book are pretty firmly stories about wild animals. Pandora's a stretch as a science fiction setting, but its famously known as Ferngully in Space and they had a "Imaginary animals" line they could squeeze the Banshees into as substitute dragons.

Zootopia's about the cops starting race wars.

>Only face character I ever did was Jack Sparrow
Any MILFs or cougars hit on you? What are your stories? I've heard he gets hit on a lot by older women.

>How are crowds?
Light right npow, but it is back to school season
>Are guests getting fed up with the drop in quality?
Not enough to stop coming
> Are you reconsidering your employment with the company?
Not right now. For all of my bitching, I do love my job, Most of my gripes with Disney are from my standpoint as a fan. As a CM I'm not too unhappy.
>He formally called it the "No pants"/"No clothes" rule.
Good news.
