It's one of the most successful cartoons of the 90s lasting from 1991-1999 with a total of 7 seasons.
Doug was more successful than Ren & Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Darkwing Duck, Batman: TAS, Animaniacs, 2 Stupid Dogs, Eek the Cat, Pinky & the Brain, Cow & Chicken, Duckman and countless other cartoons. It even overlapped with SpongeBob.
>why isn’t >why don’t >how come we never Would you shut the fuck up and just say what you want to say when you want to talk about it, instead of blaming everyone else for not already talking about what you want?

When is this "length = success and quality" meme going to die?

>It's another why isn't Doug discussed much on Any Forums thread You open this thread every week and you always get the same answer: because Doug is fucking boring
Dylan Anderson
You made this thread. Fuck off.
Leo Lee
No no you're doing it all wrong. If you want people to discuss Doug then you have to open with pic related and say >Dear Journal,
And people wonder why we have the same threads everyday
Blake Foster
And what’s that supposed to mean
Angel Williams
Honest answer, Disney bought it up, and buried it. Also, the series is kind of boring. Doug is a pushover, and it's shown to be a positive thing. The best part about Doug are the behind the scenes stories of the creator failing in life, and the absurdly disturbing fan art.

This. Doug is very...workmanlike. It's the kind of cartoon the suits want. It's not bad, it's not good, it doesn't really stand out in any way. It just...does its job.
Tyler Williams
It spawned Hey Arnold, Pepper Ann and Recess.
Dylan Davis
It sucked
Hunter Lee
We’d be discussing Doug all the time if he managed to bang Patty Mayonnaise. However we know that Doug, and the created that Doug was based on, never scored with her. So there’s nothing to talk about.
Jace Butler
>Doug is a pushover, and it's shown to be a positive thing Most people only caught random episodes, so they don't realize that the writers changed his characterization a bit between seasons. By season 4, he was a much more fun character. That's the season with episodes like the "There's a bomb in the lasagna" one or the one where he lies about being able to ride a horse.
Lucas Hill
Roger was the only reason I watched this. Thanks to him, I got to learn the fantastic insult Skeetface

>Doug is a pushover, and it's shown to be a positive thing. What? Every episode follows the exact opposite plot. >Doug is in a bad situation because he's passive >daydreams about being a more assertive version of himself >uses that daydream to be more assertive >everything works out for the best because of it
Carson Jones
Patty was ugly anyways, he should have been plowing that green bitch
