nah, not at all, it disappointed me greately, bad acting, bad CGI, togo went from wacky troublesome puppy to dog jesus + Dalai lama with mystic powers, also half of the movie is everybody telling Gunnar that the dog only has one race left and after it the dog will die for sure, you know, to create feeling that something wrong will happen but actually never happens and in the end the dog lives for many MANY years and has lots of puppies and everybody is happy forever.
