why are you abandoning the R*dditjak and copy-paste op?
>Batman used to have a gun in the old comics
that probably only ever happened once or twice
>bird greater than or equal word
what did they mean by this
It was Glee and the Sopranos
I mean it did bring the song back.
I remember one radio show would spam that one and the "Cool WHip" but every morning
>As much as I hate to take human life, I'm afraid this time it's necessary!
Batman? Not being a total autist? I didn't think it was possible!
People force this meme so much as if Batman wasn't characterized as an upright moralfag for an overwhelming percentage of the golden age. I'm pretty sure he quit using firearms well before he even took on Robin as his sidekick, which was a little under a year after Batman's initial debut. It never really added anything to his character, it just felt like a glaring holdover from the inspiration he drew from The Shadow.
Surfin’ Bird is itself based on another old song, which many of you may not have heard. “Papa Oom Mow Mow.”
Go to 1:20 in Surfin’ Bird, they start singing it: youtu.be
This is the original song, by the Rivingtons: youtu.be
I never heard of this until I got into the comic Reverbstorm, which makes a ton of references to old rock and roll songs. It compares the nonsense of Papa Oom Mow Mow to the nonsense words invented by James Joyce like “Bababadalgharaghtakamminarronnkonnbronntonnerronntuonnthunntrovarrhounawnskawntoohoohoordenenthurnuk”
