Just watched ParaNorman for the first time. It was cool and I think it is their best looking one but something felt kind of flat after the first part. I guess I was expecting something greater but it's just decently good. Coraline still the MVP.

I really liked the message. That wasn't what felt fully flat. They mogged on peoplecs stupidity even after the mob where they start blaming everyone else for their own actions. Also a dab at modernity with the puritans looking at the town.

First act was great.
Second act felt like mostly filler.
Third act was fantastic.
It has it's problems. But I'm not gonna pretend the movie didn't drill a hole in my heart and crawl directly inside it.
