>animation software
no need, ai is replacing artists and will soon replace animators

Krita, better drawing tools.

krita cuz not cuck-licensed
t. Any Forums

I can't believe Clip Studio Paint is starting to go full subscription mode. It seriously breaks my heart.

I'm going with Grease pencil

Call me when it can atleast make a web comic.

you don't have to update

It's literally not. V1, v2 and v3 have/ will have permenant 1 time purchase options.

OpenToonz refuses to do anything about their retarded palette UI and Krita has a shitty key frame animation feature. You're better off animating in Adobe Photoshop

Anyone know where to get start with animation?
I'm trying to tighten up my drawing skills and want to add animation to that.

Do you have a drawing tablet?

Yeah.

What do you mean, "get started"?
In terms of software? Or what to animate on your first ever attempt?

It's literally just a sequence of pictures played at a high speed, the sky is the limit.

just pirate flash

I recommend Krita

I just use SAI and then save frames and shove them into ezgif.com, editing the time per frame as needed

Flash is a fucking meme if you're trying to draw anything decent because of it's shitty brush

Yeah I mean more exercises to study or whatevver.

Krita
>there are people on this board who draw using proprietary software
yikes....

I use Krita because it's the most like Flipnote Studio out of the three.
>t. Hasn't animated in months
