Netflix has Marvel IPs

>Netflix has Marvel IPs
>is apparently ashamed of costume looks beyond daredevil
>refuses to really embrace villain aesthetics

>Disney gets the IPs back
>we immediately get 70s loki, moon knight, and Zemo wearing his mask(at least occasionally)

Why was netflix marvel so fucking afraid of costumes?

>is apparently ashamed of costume looks beyond daredevil
No they were ashamed of Daredevil too. Hardly wore the damn red outfit during his 3 seasons.

I'm actually kind of mad how they couldn't even give Luke Cage yellow t-shirts. It's simple
>"Man, I'm tired of buying new shirts all the time from the bullet holes"
>"Here, I have boxes of yellow shirts good will won't take"
Done. But that was the least of that show's problems. All Luke did was whine about having superpowers

yeah, but he at least WORE the fucking costume. Did we even ONCE see Iron fist's costume? I'm not actually aware. I skipped Iron fist. I know Jessica Jones mocked Patsy when she offered her the Jewel costume.

I can't call it an achievement because they actively tried to keep him in the black proto-suit. And the answer is no, closest thing you got was old footage of a previous Iron Fist wearing it

>Did we even ONCE see Iron fist's costume?
I think a flashback to a previous Iron Fist had them in the costume, but that was it

The only reason I'm looking forward to Disney + Daredevil is the chance he'll finally have a suit that doesn't look like shit.

also they can retcon him killing people in the netflix show

who did he kill in the netflix show? I remember it being a sticking point that frank refused to let him pick and choose when it was okay to kill.

i didn't watch it all but in one of the first episodes he tortures and kills a random dude

Luke hasn't worn a real costume in ages and Jessica never had one (Jewel flashbacks aside).

because that costs money

Because it was highly up its ass and the creators were under impression they're making The Wire or something.

>Luke hasn't worn a real costume in ages
Hasn't been in a good story either.

how about the villains, then?
>kilgrave isn't even purple
>bushmaster
>cottonmouth
>frank doesn't even put a skull on his vest until the end of s2
>nuke
>iron fist

>Jewel flashbacks aside
everyone forgets about Knightress

hell
>bullseye is just wearing daredevil's outfit

Hell, he barely wore purple.
Most of his suits were dark blue or black.

Because most comic book costumes look stupid in live action

...No he doesn't. Daredevil has a strict no-kill policy in the show.

The fact they didn't at LEAST let Kilgrave keep the purple veins when he got them drives me crazy.

Luke Cage wore his comic costume at one point and that wasn't even played off as a joke

I think you confuse that with Ben Affleck film.

I would've watched the whole series if he had looked like that for the entire thing.

>Did we even ONCE see Iron fist's costume?
No but iron fist was garbage so that's a package deal
