Cool Powers

>Cool Powers
>Virtually Indestructible
>Fought an insanely powerful version of Martian Manhunter
>Batman hopes he never goes rogue

Why does DC treat this man like a complete joke?

He is a joke in a good way, his charming funny attitude towards everything is part of what makes him great.

Because turning an overpowered joke character serious is a thing for autistic faggots who can't into humour. Remove the joke and he's just a bad character.

>Fought an insanely powerful version of Martian Manhunter
Beating up the Martian Jobber is almost as meaningless as kicking The Spectre's ass.

Wasn't he inspired on rubber-hose cartoons? Or that was Luffy?

I'm more referring to how he's being treated as a joke, not him being a humorous character in general.

You gotta give us some examples, most of the time whenever someone talks about Plas seriously is with respect and fear of him going rouge

Plastic Man is less relevant to DC than Pixie is to Marvel.
He's just an obscure property they cannot monetize, they give zero fucks.

Mostly he's not talked about at all, a few nostalgic writers toss him in, and then he's quickly forgotten.

There was a DC short where Plastic Man gets ranked as a "lesser threat". I'm fine with him being a goofy character, but ya gotta give the man some kind of respect.

If Wanda can kill Reed Richards, she could kill this clown

Because if you took him seriously he wouldn't be fun, retard.

He hasn't been fun within anyone's lifetime. And by seriously, do you mean how he's talked up in TDKR, and then beats up a few guards and contributes nothing else?

Carrie Kelly's whole stupid "OMGZORS HE COULD KILL US ALL!" narrative in Miller's books...
Yes Carrie, Flash could kill you all. The Atom could kill you all like it was nothing. The Green Lantern could wipe the whole planet.
All of these superheroes could kill you, Batman and all your kid-commandoes because they are supergods with powers that defy physics, and Batman is hogging all the plot-armor.

Not relevant =/= being a joke.
Characters like Killer Moth are treated as a joke, Plastic Man isn't.

He treats himself as a joke.
He's not immortal, even he will die from the amount of cringe a serious take on the character will bring.

>Why does DC treat this man like a complete joke?
Despite the jokes, he was a member of the JLA because he deserves it. And he can be a badass when he want.

it was Justice league action, they actually use him as a mainstay character in the show. he's voiced by the guy who dies master shake in aquateen

Wanda would be wearing him as one of her red corsets before she knew what was going on.

It was so Plastic Man could get upset and beat Brainiac himself, which he does at the end.

Do you think Plastic Man turns his hand into a beautiful woman and masturbates with it?

He doesn't need to because he's not a loser like you.
