What?
There are multiple universes so that means everyone has to die

I hope there is a universe where I went full Mormon and have like three wives and 24 kids.
Nihilism is a hell of a drug, OP.
I sometimes feel like I am the evil universe version of my good self that actually accomplished shit
8 kids a piece, damn.
I hate most of these movies, but this one is so much better than the comic. Morrison's story was so forgettable.
he was making the only logical choice that would have any real consequences. did you even watch da movie?
He was already a psycho, and he became overwhelmed by the notion that he was meaningless in the context of infinite universes
Yeah, he said that but he didn't explain it
Can someone remind me why they last minute changed this from being a DCAU JL movie even though removing it made JLU barely make sense?
The voice acting was so good, especially Owlman.
Maybe they thought it'd be kind of pointless since they already did a similar plot with the Justice Lords?
Owlman did nothing wrong
James Wood is an incredible voice actor.
uh yeah its pretty self explanatory. its insane to want to destroy all of existence but its the only thing that can't be replicated and the only choice that is truly real.
pretty sure that was their reasoning
He’s a faggot that couldn’t accept the idea that what he did simply didn’t matter in the grand scheme of things as if that wasn’t already the case. Rather than finding his own worth in what he did he opted that the only thing of any worth at all ever was to destroy everything like a nihilistic faggot.
he was the only one awake in a simulation. its pretty understandable how he felt
Nope. Because by definition, he fails. If he ever succeeded, he would never have the chance to succeed. That's what continuity erasure means.
Also, a universe by definition is self-contained and therefore doesn't have bearing on other universes. You might as well be butthurt that people that aren't you exist, because it's the same fake 'problem'. By definition. If I and my next-universe-over duplicate were the same person, we would be the same person instead of duplicates. Even if an individual has the same DNA and history as you, the simple fact that you're not literally in two places at once means that your universes are different and therefore you are different.
Moreover, he's trying to contradict fatalism via assuming it, so, again, he's full of shit and fails.
So what if there are alternate Earths? You are still you. I don't get it, man.
Owlman is the best evil Batman. He's exactly what you'd expect a villain with Batman's demeanor, methods, and personality. Batman who keks just has Joker's personality.
His plan was doomed to fail. As soon as he set foot on Earth Prime it stopped being Earth Prime or else millions of other Owlmen would have appeared along with him, if not beaten him to the punch.
Batman's whole fight with him was for nothing.
Is this canon?
this would have been a cooler climax
okay then I guess I'm stupid I concede and now join in confusion
I like the original version better, but the movie goes more indepth than the comic book which is lame as fuck. Even Quitley couldn't save that
Exactly
