Death Battle

How many more cape matches will we get this season?
Black Adam vs Pocky comes out on the 18th, is visible to everyone on the 19th.

Yes

I want to think this is the last one...

I was just researching some shit and it made me wonder:
If a character is directly compared to a previous/alternate incarnation of themselves, can you count that?

Dudes...is James Bond near light speed?

Let’s see. Barring some bizarre choices, we know Trunks will be going against Silver and Sauron is probably facing Lich King (possibly someone else, but unlikely Marvel or DC). So that leaves four matches left that could be comic stuff, but Jason VS Michael seems to have things going in its favor for this year. So three slots that could be comic stuff (besides BA VS Apocalypse).

I’ll say one or two, as my guess. Ant-Man VS Atom is always on the table as a match, but She-Hulk going up against someone isn’t too out there to cash in on relative recency.

So is Black frieza multiversal since he oneshot goku and vegeta?
>not canon
don't care

There’s a difference between being many times universal and being one times multiversal. Which is kinda stupid but that’s how it is. So I don’t think so, unless his attacks like destroyed or affected a multiverse.

Goku and Vegeta aren't even galaxy level, so Frieza is galactic. No idea where you got the idea of any of them being multiversal from.
>B-but the anime!
Doesn't even make them universal, let alone multi, and if you're going by the manga then the power cap would be galaxy level because of Moro.

>mui shaking the endless void
>jiren bypassing time
>kefla stating she could destroy a universe with one blow
>not universal

Multiverse is just multiple universes.
>He shook an arena barely larger than your average cityscape
>Not universal
>A boast

That one user posts that every single thread, pay them no mind

>Translation error
>Doesn't even apply right now + Hit is a jobber
>Statements via an inexperienced fighter high off their own power
You're joking, right? You also didn't supply anything that went against the manga clearly saying that Goku and Co. would've been wiped out by a galaxy level explosion.

>Ignore his argument because he actually knows what he's talking about
Lmfao. I'm also not whoever you're talking about, retard. I'll tell them that he's on your mind though,

Multiverse should just be multiple universes, but it has a different use in VS debating terms. Heck, not even VS Battle wiki lists characters like Goku or Beerus as multiversal. Being a million times universal and multiversal are different things in that book.

But if you want to say that multiversal is just characters being Universal times a certain amount, then you can argue DB passed that a long time ago altogether.

Superman once punched Brainiac so hard every single incarnation of him across the multiverse felt it

>berrus was stated universal in the anime
>broly was stated to be stronger than him
>MUI goku is stronger than broly
Check mate

Death Battle does high power levels by using observable universes as units of measurement. IIRC the vs battle wiki considers the multiversal threshold to begin with higher-dimensionality. Of course both means have fundamental problems. Firstly, it's called "the observable universe" for a reason; it's probably not the whole thing, just what's known to us, and IRL models make the universe out to be gargantuan compared to the observable. Secondly, vs battle wiki falls to the same fallacy that death battle does; instead of using observable universes as units of measurement they use spatial dimensions as units of measurement, and I blame both of these autistic offshoots of linear power levels on DBZ's scouters

not that user but i need a sauce. and i -know- you're overblowing the feat anyway

>Falling back on statements again
Please show me where it's said that Broly > Beerus, user. Also
>Trying to scale people to Beerus
>The being no one's even come close to surpassing yet
I'm laughing. Chortling, even. Btw, you still haven't posted anything that disproves what I said about Goku being hard stuck galactic according to the manga, the source you were using to say that Negroza was somehow multiversal.

I mean you gotta pay the rent somehow, Homelander vs Omni-Man got 5 million off the bat, I mean we're still going to get weirdos like Esdeath vs Fairy Tail, Carnage vs Lucy, and Wukong vs Hercules, but it's not their fault that Shonen Jump vs Shonen Jump or Marvel vs DC make 2 million in less than a month

>The being no one's even come close to surpassing yet
In the manga, maybe, but in the anime he's literally a bit higher than SSG level with no transformations.

they said it was an outlier so no

We aren't talking about the anime. If you're going to use manga characters, we're sticking with manga logic. Also that last part is just plain false, considering the fact that he's been holding back on numerous occasions, so attempting to confidently say that he's X level makes you look very silly.

you clearly don't know what you are talking about

stick to comics bud

>No argument
>Still can't supply a screenshot of someone saying "WAKU WAKU BROLY-SAN! YOU'RE STRONGER THAN BEERUS-SAMA!"
Why am I not surprised, but please tell me what part of my statement was incorrect. Last time I checked, in both the manga and the anime Beerus has yet to be surpassed by anyone, nor has he shown his full capabilities. Therefore, attempting to say that one is stronger than him is a foolish sentiment.
