Is there any hope of her becoming better? Or should she just be someone close for Spidey to save who isn’t a potential love interest?
Teresa Parker
The lamest possible way to introduce new character is to make that character a secret sibling of another character.
Let me guess: created by Dan Slott?
There is always hope. A really good writer can turn trash into gold.
Fwiw, I think the big sins of her aren't really about her. The "Peter's folks were super-spies" thing has always been kind of stupid in the same way as Aunt May's Canadian Nuclear Plant
Mark Waid.
Yeah. Honestly it would be easier to say that there was just a mix up at the hospital due to Parker luck, and she ended up shunted into an orphanage which happened to be training chameleons because, again, Parker luck
Just retcon her away.
No one asked for a secret sister to Spider-Man.
No, I insist, make her a robot.
Fuse her with Pity
I actually wanted one. Not this one. I wanted something to tone down the immense stupidity of the Parkers as Super Spy Double Agents, so like... A Russian half-sister would have been fine. Of course, she would then inevitably have turned out to be a Widow, and that would have been bad, but I did want.
I personally wanted a completely normal secret sister who has zero powers but the same awful Parker luck
Sort of like pic related
I dont know how they can introduce her without it being a corny "long lost sibling" especially with Peter's origin story being an only child practically being set in stone. It would've been interesting to see the dynamic shed have in the ultimates(before they killed him off and rebooted with miles).
Agreed, though like I said before, they should fuse her with Pity.
Parkers are scientists who research something that they shouldn’t so the Gentleman sends his brother to kill them. Somehow, Richard kills the Finisher in a random stroke of luck which enrages Gustav.
So Fiers takes the daughter to raise as a servant/punching bag, and arranges for the son to suffer.
Later he discovers that Peter is Spider-Man, so Gustav Fiers gives Teresa (now called Pity) dark and light force powers and sends her against her brother
Agent of SHIELD that works as Nick Fury's liaison with Spider-Man who has the uncanny ability to sneak up on him and track him down no matter where he is. Finds out later that she's the daughter of Richard and Mary Parker who was taken in and raised by Nick Fury as a secret agent, and never revealed this connection to fulfill a promise to Richard to keep Peter from finding out about his secret agent lifestyle. And the reason Spidey keeps being snuck up on is because he instinctively recognizes her as family, so his Spider sense doesn't go off immediately unless she's actually trying to hurt him. And Ben and Aunt May knew, but agreed to keep it hidden for Peter's sake, just telling him that his sister was raised by someone else whenever he asks about her.
Not too difficult. The key to making the long lost sibling shit work is establishing them as someone that the other person would even know or care about BEFORE the big bomb of their blood relation's dropped.
Based Spencer already made her better by making her a chameleon agent and unrelated to Peter.

Agreed. They’re no impact if the long lost person just shows up out if nowhere. Nowadays you have to build it up to actually be good.
If you wanna pull that old soap opera introduced as evil twin bullshit in the modern age just use the multiverse
While teaming up with Jessica Drew, Jessica is killed off and Teresa not only has to become the new Spider-Woman and get her powers, but also have to pretend to be Jessica Drew so her killers don't know that she's dead
And then later on she finds out that Jessica was actually a clone of her so everyone just pretends that she was always Spider-Woman.
>Or should she just be someone close for Spidey to save
>Spider-Man ever rescuing woman instead of getting rescued by them at least once every storyline
Lol, I guess you haven't read any Spider-Man comics since 2014
They should make her team up with Felicia just for the lulz
No
just ignore her existance and let her fade into obscurity
why not? both have plenty to offer in action/spy arcs, easy mode
Retcon her into nothingness. Secret long lost sister is lame.
