Her major damage won't have much to do with her relationship with sex but rather with her adopting an overly concilliatory attitude to avoid conflict. It was her main coping and survival mechanism in her youth - avoid bothering people, avoid mentioning how you feel, protect the status quo at your own expense. You will never get through to her because she has learned to lie and believe her own lies. She will never tell you what's wrong because she doesn't believe she has the right to tell you, and her resentment will fester inside her. Her inability to express herself will become an inability to love others, and you'll just be the loveless marriage she trapped herself in, but decides to stay in because it's better than nothing.
