It was a huge letdown. The studio very clearly messed with it in the edit so it would seem more like a story of quirky misfits in the vain of Guardians of the Galaxy, when what was filmed was clearly intended to be dark and morose in nature. It was so painfully obvious that this was the case due to the fact that even the basic framework of the narrative was impossible to follow and relied totally on contrivance to work. Entire performances were cut down to near nothing, robbed of the context that may have made them function properly at one time. A waste of a premise, a waste of a cast, another fumble by a studio that orders something deliberate and then gets upset when they can’t change it.
