Why can't talentless fucks just get a different hobby instead of wanting to shit all over actual talented artists with their mass produced bullshit? That is, if AI art becomes big and replaces traditional artists in the future.

Because artists may have opinions regarding minorities that I may disagree with and that matters more than anything else.

Don't humans just do the same thing? It's always curious that when robots do it we call it copying or remixing but when humans do it they're "inspired" or "took ideas" from something.

That's debatable. While there might truly be nothing new under the sun. Human artist don't just bash together other artists work. Humans can create new presentation of ideas, AIs can't.

Because the robot is literally taking pre-existing images with no design or intent or creativity. People actually have something in mind when they are drawing or photoshopping. They have a final end goal and have purposefully taken in elements they believe will work for what they want.

Then it'd just be photo-bashed stock photos of an alien and women with wet shirts.
AI will at most be used as a prompt for a human artist to help them visualize what they have seen in their minds or others when hiring an artist for commission.

Again, whats the difference? Maybe the AI's work will be derivative of martians if you ask for marians, but you asked for martians. Run it on a different data set like strand beasts, insects or cryptids and call them martians and you'll get something very visually distinct, and its all a human will be doing too

Maybe the exception is a human can reductively design a martian based on biological principles, but is that a unique creature? Its by definition derivative in that its derived from a set of principles.

I'm sort of curious how far it will go. Soon we may have AI making all art then what's next, AI novels, AI music? AI movies and TV, we are almost there anyway. At what point is all human expression and invention ended and replaced with having some degenerate AI copy mash something together instead?
