Season 2 confirmed...

Season 2 confirmed. Thought for sure it was done for with all going on at WB Discovery and HBO Max but am happy to be wrong.

BatGOD just wins.

Wow some good news for once, what a pleasant surprise. I knew it was getting a comic continuation but I was still holding out hope for a proper season.

Indeed. I know Dennis McNicholas somewhat confirmed Season 2 on some Youtube channel back in April but I assumed it got canned because of everything going on and that the comic continuation was the closest thing we'd get. I seriously consider this to be one of the best pieces of Batman related media in recent years and hope it gets more attention (especially since they just released all of Season 1 outside of just HBO Max today)

Any rips for the episodes?

What the fuck is this

Yeah, between Batman Unburied kind of overshadowing and the upcoming comic apparently handling some big plot points, I was sure it wasn't coming out. Glad I was wrong.

A fun podcast in the style of an old school audio play. Takes a lot of inspiration from Silver Age Batman so it's generally more comedic/lighthearted than a lot of modern Batman stuff but has plenty of dramatic moments too. It's really enjoyable.

Eh, I figure it would have been fine. Audio plays are probably the cheapest medium to make in terms of production costs, and with the IP, I imagine it drummed up more than enough interest to justify it.

Did that B:TAS audio play ever come out? I feel like that was announced a year ago.

That is cool.

I thought for sure it was going to release yesterday on Batman TAS's 30 year anniversary but maybe it'll release on Batman Day instead.

We got Ra's, Croc, Scarecrow and most likely Hugo Strange coming in the comic. I wonder how many of those will carry over to Season 2. It's really clever how they seem to be connecting Ra's to King Scimitar.

Don't forget they're following up on the Harley tease from the season finale.

Yes! Good point! I'm really curious to see what they do with this take on her!! Dark Purple Dawn in her is probably going to ramp up the obsession in her more then usual. Also wondering if we'll see Riddler this season after all the existential crisis he went through at the end of last Season.

I don't think she loved Joker until being exposed to DPD, but yeah. I'm more interested in Batman being permawhite and how that'll change his life as Bruce moving forward.

I hope we get Riddler in some form. I really enjoyed John Leguizamo in the role.

This show was painful to listen.
>the obvious black batman
>obvious woman playing Robin
They don't even try.

Yes! This was such good campy fun glad we’re getting more.

After the tease in Season 1, I think it's time for Killer Moth.

Jeffrey Wright is like the best guy on the show, what are you on? so many of the other actors are SNL guys acting like they're doing comedy bits but Wright's actually doing a great batman.

I don't hate Kenan Thompson but him as Jim Gordon is like listening to him doing an SNL bit of him as Jim Gordon.

Here.
