>Simpsons are created as a parody of sitcom families to criticize the average American family >it's effective enough every animated sitcom family that copies always bashes on the poor amerimutts because they are easy targets, specially if they have conservative values >somehow it becomes so common and ubiquitous they slowly become the underdogs and fuel counter culture
I have this idea for this animated sitcom that is basically the anti-simpsons just to show how people can act stupid just because the status-quo said so. It would play complete straight and be a black comedy about a burnout christian family trying to raise their kids in mostly progressive world were their son is "probably" gay and is slowly being corrupted by older kids in to being a sub-sissy and despite loving their son they don't know how to deal with it. Do you think it would ever be picked up by a network or streaming service or writing a show that is not against christians and not that interested in portraying homosexualism as 100% positive all the time too transgressive for 2022? It also could be a comic, but if I ever did as a comic I would add a lot more of feminization and corruption fetish.
No, of course it wouldn't get picked up. It would be seen as homophobic and bad representation. Like are you implying that all gays are either malicious molestors or gullible victims of molestation? Even if you're not and that's satire it will still be perceived as punching down. Which might seem absurd, since gay representation is everywhere these days, but gay people are still are minority and there are still parts in the world where they're persecuted right now.
I wouldn't be opposed to seeing this if it was just exaggerated satire talking about things that don't get talked about often. Good luck convincing anyone it is, though.
Aren't those all applicable to anyone who posts in Any Forums?

Yeah, I know. my plan was to even out with some gay fanservice just to deflect the homophobic accusations. Funny as it is porn is one of the last things you can kinda do that sort of thing and people won't be as rabbid about it because it's porn and they know the person behind is just doing because is his fetish. My idea was to sprinkle around some sexy scenes to capitalize on this femeonmena. If the network trying to censor me they would be the homophobic ones and people would just think I'm in to it so it's okay, it's the perfect counter and you could watch it just because of that, is double layered.

holy based Any Forumsmblr moment shitting on a thread that's not about amphibia, stephen universe, craig of the creek, or star vs

It doesn't sound very funny

Black comedies are only funny on the execution, not on the premisse. But i will admit it wouldn't be easy to write. The main joke is not even on the show but on people reaction to it.
Close. It's a deconstruction of some things on Clarissa. But not everything. I have a idea that is pretty close to Clarissa but less the "Evil Lies Just Beneath the Surface" and more a exploration of the human condition behind the Clarissa themes.

Hey, cultist, I heard Tim Pool is going into making streaming content for his vanity corporation. Better get in before they re-enact Waco.

>guys what if I tried to change social views by magically being given the production capacity to create my own cartoon with a cringe-af premise that has no target audience and then I don't know I guess it'd seep into public consciousness or something poltards ideas are so fucking hilariously ineffective at what they set about doing that it makes the idea of psychops social engineering seem almost feasible because they certainly seem to be the product of someone wanting to make someone else completely useless
Colton Garcia
Not really trying to change social views, I just want to tell a story and get people angry at me.

Given some of the replies here, I think some Any Forums posters here aren't too far off from being the EXACT stereotype of everything Any Forums hates, what with them unironically thinking Linkara and Vaush are good content makers.
Caleb Turner
We need more sissykino in the world, please make this.
Ethan Collins
>everything Any Forums hates I'd put that on my campaign website.
Brayden Lopez
So does this mean you like Linkara and Vaush?

It's bad enough you're trying to 'gotcha,' but did it have to be the most pathetic attempt at a 'gotcha' this side of shouting, "What am I thinking right now, Mr. Psychic?!" when what you called a 'strawman' is actually an accurate portrayal of your sincere beliefs?
Jackson Johnson
>"amerimutts" >"homosexualism" >wants to fix da society by making a gayass rightoid cartoon about his sissy fetish Yeah I'm gonna go with E.

Do you really think the Simpsons alone was responsible for counterculture and the proliferation of sitcoms about imperfect, dysfunctional families? That was the way television was heading even before The Simpsons. Married with Children, for example, was another instance of dysfunctional, working class families becoming more prominent than harmonious middle class families. Counter culture was already thriving by that point and people wanted to see reflections of what their liver were actually like.
