I have some amount of affection for it but I can't argue that it didn't have a chance and didn't deliver much more than 6/10 at best.

>but I can't argue that it didn't have a chance
I would, Fox loves to fuck over everything on the animation block. How the hell did The Great North and HouseBroken dudge the axe so easily?

Three seasons is enough to find what works and get better than "just ok" and this series didn't.

Why didn't Duncan just have sex with Kimberly?

I count tell you how many times I beat my dick to the mom

How the fuck does this show still has the "parents who grew up in the 80's" trope? They would be retired at this point

*can't

Fucking autocorrect

>people retire in 40s
what? what country are you from?
in america it's at 67, so if they grew up in the 80s they'd still have like over 20 years for that

Can we have a special Animation Domination thread dedicated to this?

As long as it's on a Sunday

All six episodes will be dumped onto Hulu the same day, so I imagine anyone could just start a simple talkback thread for anons to pour one out for Duncanville's last breath.

Next time you make a thread like this it should be today or tomorrow at most. Even better if you have download links instead.

>Duncanville threads should only be made whenever a new episode premieres
This is why the show is dead.

Grew up, not born
They’d be in their 50s if they grew up in the 80s

That's not what I said. I said threads announcing next episode drops should be made on the day instead of one and a half months in advance. What kind of attention span do you think I have? The show is dead because not a lot of people gave a shit about it. If you want to shill your show on Any Forums go and commission some disgusting porn of the characters and use that as the OP when making a thread.

>How the fuck does this show still has the "parents who grew up in the 80's" trope?
Because two of the creators are old as hell and the third one grew up in the '80s, so '80s jokes and references are all they know how to write. Duncanville may take place in the present day with parents presumably in their early 40s, but the writing had to neglect that in order for Amy and the Scullys to add in their own particular sensibilities.

My parents were born in 1977
2022-1977=45

I mean I was born in 88 and in my 30s and generally parents in animated sitcoms are in their late 30s early 40s

This, desu. It's kind of in the same camp as Tuca and Bertie for me -- I enjoy watching it but I don't think it's particularly clever or funny and at best it only really gets a modest chuckle out of me. I'm kinda going to miss it, but it's a 6/10 and I'm surprised it even lasted this long, honestly.

Fun while it lasted.
