Good morning Emmy fans! Unfortunately we have come to the end of our rope in terms of any media put out by Dom to share since the hiatus started, so this is it, the Department of Automation.

Obviously this has changed what we know about Emmy's world drastically from police confiscation of outmodes to something as mundane as a DMV just for them, with Emmy flanked on either side by all sorts of robots with all sorts of ailments. This isn't a Sterling bot doc by any stretch of the imagination, so it's worth wondering what the DMA handles in its day to day function in Beacon City, and what role they serve in a post-robot crackdown world.

It's also funny to see them using captcha technology on visiting robots, with Emmy instantly confused and distressed by being given conflicting commands (horse and dog), which undoubtedly proves she is a robot to whatever late night clerk is administering it.

Police confiscating outmodes was only ever a fan theory that made no sense even back then for anything else than drama.

With there being nothing to talk about I expected op to not do anything this week.
He can't have missed how dogshit the threads have been with the lack of content to discuss, I'm surprised there's one today at all.

Yes. Problem is these threads have been made consistently every single Saturday for two years now, so if we tried a hiatus of our own there'd be at least two or three awful spam threads from different people, ultimately just making things worse. Oh, and speaking of that, it's been three years since the first Emmy thread.

I don't get it. How is this test supposed to prove that you are either a human or a robot? A human would be just as confused by the clearly erroneous instruction as Emmy is.
