Zootopia

>$236 million from China, #38th all time
>Japan, 71st of all time
>South Korea, 134th all time
>Taiwan, 68th all time
>Hong Kong, 57th all time

Why was this movie so disproportionally big in Asian countries?

Stop making cartoon threads already. Just face that all your crap is for children and they are all getting righteously erased from history. It's comic's time.

Yeah baby letsgooooo

Furry films don't have black people in them so naturally Asians are gonna like an American film like this.

Soul was surprisingly big in China though

The furry market is largely untapped in east Asia and Zootopia may have started an awakening. MILF slightly related.

Because
_ ____ __ ____ ____ _____

Soul was $57 million in China. Zootopia was over $200 million in China. Not even close.

Only place it did. No one watched it here.

Then make a comic thread that isnt about "WOW THIS SUPERHERO NOW TAKES IT UP THE ASS" fag

yeah but Pixar movies do like jackshit in China. Look up what Finding Dory did in China.

Finding Dory had Lesbo's in it. They're lower than blacks on the Asian untermensch scale.

What's kind of embarrassing is that lots of people said Turning Red was China bait but it's never been released there.

>Frozen, #4 of all time in Japan
>Frozen 2, # 19 of all tie in Japan
>Frozen 2 #6 of all time in South Korea
>Frozen #28th of all time in South Korea
Why was Zootopia so disporportionately unsuccessful in Asian countries?

Good question, must have been coasting on Frozen vibes

Because it was a fun mystery drama.

I think they're building a Zootopia theme park thing in one of the Asian Disney's too

in Shanghai Disney... provided there's not some hugely fucked up geopolitical thing that happens.

It was great date flick.

It snatched the audience of Kung Fu Panda 3.

it was a great date flick even in the USA... I remember watching it in a dollar discount theater and it was like all adults there.

also my 10 year old sister at the time, when she saw the movie, complained only adults were laughing at the movie.

China, please don't go to war with Taiwan. We're already facing price hikes and the Russia Ukraine bullshit has everyone on edge. Please don't cause a world war.

I think they should keep the collars. It wouldn't be as succesful, but definately a more interesting movie.

They find the characters delicious

they didn't have the balls to make it depressing

I was watching the resident evil Netflix show and within 15 minutes the black teen mentions how all she reads is zootopia porn

It was NOT depressing:
