Its not a single story but I'm having more fun reading her 90s book than anything she's been in since then besides Lonely City and a solo story here and there.
Don't get me wrong this isn't high art but its got the same charm of paperback adventure books or syndicated action shows

I thought When In Rome and Selina's Big Score were the two best Catwoman comics of the 2000s that got away from the urban angst of whatever Brubaker was trying to do
I really like Ostrander's run on 90s Catwoman and Balent's art comes into it's own past issue 30 or so. Lot of people think the book is nothing more than cheesecake, lot of people are wrong. The OKC bombing issue is a masterpiece imo, and it wouldn't have been a problem was just a cheesecake book like Jone's Catwoman or the 09 Powergirl book.
I think I'm going to wait for the TPB to look into this, something about the dialogue irks me. Like it's trying to tell an honest story about a retired Selina but can't take itself seriously. Very Whedony

It didn't actually use anything from the Tim Burton movie actually, all characters were in their regular main looks, that story was wacky in a good way, more of a Penguin than a Catwoman story tho.
