Yeah why not? The episode is about how boys and girls should be able to enjoy any hobby regardless of gender, which is still a pretty good message

I was going to say this, but frankly gender politics have reversed in many ways, now the queer community would argue that if you like something from the other gender that means you are trans.

Other way to put it would be like this, in boomer times they would say "boys don't play with dolls" because that makes you a sissy and that is a bad thing, then for like 10 years the message was "Its ok for boys to like girl's things" and now we are back to "boys don't play with dolls" because that makes you trans and that is a good thing.

The message hasn't change kids from one gender shouldn't/can't enjoy stuff from the other gender.

The only difference is now people would call Timmy and Trixie trans for being comfortable during the episode.
