>Powerpuff Girls creator Craig McCracken wanted to have the Joker in an episode of Powerpuff girls
>The plot would've revolved around the mayor trying to stop the girls from battling Joker as he was bringing attention to the town
>Warner Brothers shut the idea down and refused to let Craig use Joker in the show

Gargoyles/Atlantis

>The Atlantis direct to video sequel Milo's Return was originally a television show, later cut and shortened into the film
>One idea for an episode of the show was a crossover with the Gargoyles cartoon, featuring the villain Demona
>Plot would've featured Demona using a statue to bring the Gargoyle statues of Paris to life, and Team Atlantis would've had to stop them from attacking humans
>Despite the crossover the two worlds would've still had different continuities due to lore contradictions on things like the Loch Ness Monster and Puck

Why?

Fuck off you pathetic piece of shit. Just make a thread about the topic, don't try and get people to your faggot channel.

Neat

Gorillaz was suppose to make an appearance in the PPG movie, but scheduling issues prevented any collaboration with the band.

There's a workaround. Just use the Disgruntled Postman.

A Family Guy/American Dad crossover was planned during seasons 7 and 8 but it never came through because they had difficulty on the plot. The best they could come up with was ''Peter works at the CIA now and ruins everything'' and there was going to be a scene from Lois Kills Stewie as a joke.

He never confirmed why (studio probably wanted to keep it a secret). If I had to guess, I think around the time PPG was airing there was a sort of ban on Batman characters for other stuff (which is why Joker wasn't in JLU). Maybe that's related? Or maybe they just didn't want the crossover

That's cool

Probably for the best we never saw that

Do you think they'd be able to make it now considering there's a new PPG show in the works, and that WB has loosened up with crossovers lately?

Static Shock/Teen Titans

>During the early states of the 2000's Teen Titans show, there was discussion of it potentially taking place in the DCAU (The shared continuity of Batman and Superman TAS, Batman Beyond, Static Shock, Justice League and the Zeta Project)
>This was referenced in a crossover special in Static Shock, where Batman says Static will meet the Titans one day and a character references Beast Boy
>Eventually Teen Titans was made into it's own continuity and the team hasn't appeared in the DCAU yet

I think so, now more than ever is the era of crossovers and WB is a lot more lenient with brand recognition, I don't think they'd care if Joker was in the show. Issue is Craig might not be willing to ask again

OK Ko! Crossover Nexus Cut Characters

>In 2018 Cartoon Network aired a massive crossover special, highlighting most of their shows over there years of operation
>The special was hindered by legal rights (some CN shows like Star Wars The Clone Wars and Mixels didn't make the final cut due to this)
>Additionally during production CN stepped in and forced the production team to cut down the special's runtime
>While this erased a lot of plot ideas for the show, it also resulted in The Secret Saturdays and Class of 3000 being cut entirely from the program

Bruce Timm's JLA/Avengers

>During promotion for the 2009 animated Wonder Woman movie, Bruce Timm of the DCAU was asked what non-DC character he'd like to use in the DC universe
>Timm replied that he wanted to do a crossover with the Marvel universe, potentially a Justice League vs Avengers movie
>Likely due to rights issues this likely never got much further than an idea

It's definitely possible.

>and that WB has loosened up with crossovers lately?
Only because they're desperate.

They did manage to sneak them in later

Mixed Nutz/Toonotopia

>Tiny Toons writer Tom Ruegger pitched an idea for a Hanna Barbera/Looney Tunes crossover show in 2008 titled either Mixed Nutz or Toonotopia
>He planned out many segments, including:

>A Bugs Bunny parody of the infamous Tom Cruise Scientology video

>A Dogs Playing Poker parody segment featuring canines from the two universes

>A Rosie the Robot terminator episode where she would prevent Daffy Duck from messing with the timeline

>And a segment where Dr Huckleberry Hound and Daffy Duck removed a rocket from Wile E. Coyote's rectum in a House parody

>Despite the show being practically green-lit, a shakeup in Warner Brothers management resulted in it being canceled

Nice!

A crossover comic event between LPS 2012 and Horse Show was planned at IDW around 2014 but was axed due Hasbro's plans to reboot the entire LPS franchise with the 2018 show.

Shut the fuck up bitch. Your ass clearly didn't get pummeled enough on the smiling friends thread, so eat shit and die faggot.

Marvel's The Offenders

>Marvel had plans for a animated universe based on different Marvel properties, to premier on Hulu
>These shows would've been MODOK, Hit-Monkey, Tigra & Dazzler, and Howard the Duck
>This would've culminated in a crossover called The Offenders, a parody of Marvel's superhero teams
>During production Tigra & Dazzler and Howard the Duck were both canceled, alongside plans for the Offenders crossover
>MODOK and Hit-Monkey both appear to have been canceled after one season

Not surprised this one got axed, wasn't Hasbro going through a bunch of changes around that time with the Hub and other stuff?

Despite many meetings and many proposals from Nickelodeon, Hillenburg always turned down the idea of Spongebob having a crossover with another NickToon.

Good, it actually ruins my theory that American Dad is a television show on the family guy universe.
