More of the tv series, which was actually never "everyone dies the cartoon". It had gore, but it didn't always rely on it and actually had plot most of the time.
It's literally just Looney Tunes or Animaniacs, but with consequences. It's characters getting into wacky slapstick cartoony adventures.
Saying it's just about gore is like saying South Park is just about swearing.
If they did reboot it, it would have to be like the tv series, just more fleshed out and realized

Mondo Media as a whole hasn't created anything new either (their YouTube just uploads old stuff). Apparently they're dealing with a bankruptcy.
The last few episodes were really lazy and shitty though. They were tied to a fundraiser that failed too

I honestly don't understand why they didn't just add both, or any new characters for that matter. They really just limited themselves to the same core 20. Although I guess that allowed them to give more starring roles and development to all their characters equally, rather than just a core few. I think it's what made it so unique.
As a kid, I loved this show for the deaths. But now, I love it for the characters, and often root for them to survive (although the deaths are still fun to watch)
