Mom got crazy paranoid and psycho and tried to call random phone number until she got to talk to a random stranger who said "hum yeah no, I am not working at babysitt' scoot today".
Then she made a full scene like a maniacal crazy with a pie to bait her daughter just to say "haha I KNOW YOU LIED HAHA" when she didn't lie.
I mean really I don't know everything she do is just wrong, Hilda is better raised alone in the wood than in her house.
