Well, the show writes them as impulsive, overly horny, and they constantly make bad decisions that hurt not only themselves, but their lovers, their friends, their family, and everyone else around them.

Yeah but there’s a good way and a bad way to express those things. This episode was badly written and directed. They threw out established plot lines to make way for more gay drama. It was like a deviant art fanfic brought to life.
