My wife actually did a paid internship at Soyuz multfilm a few years ago. She said it was pretty good, especially since a lot of their Soviet-era stuff influenced her artsyle. The only problem is its in Russia. I'm a basic bitch and like Gena and Hedgehog in the Fog. She is more a patrician about their movies. I would ask her but she's asleep right now.
Priit Pärn
I liked many of the Forest Tales or Fairy Tales or whatever they are called, like The Bag/Sack of Apples. And of course, Hedgehog In The Fog. But my personal favorite is My Green Crocodile.
Which one do you like better?
Is the only good Estonian animator?
>its in Russia.
Whose in Russia?
I bet you can't type out this company's full name user

The long defunct Pannonia Studio made some good stuff, from cutesy kids' shows, literary adaptations to weird experimental, artistic and satirical cartoons.

Too bad many of their works have become harder to find since they began restoring and re-releasing them. And some were only archived in bad quality. At least all of the Hungarian Folktales series is free to watch on YouTube, they even put them up in English.

An example to us all.
Captain Pronin
The Russian short films where every frame is oil paint on glass.
Captain Pronin could have worked in live action.
