This version I've got is of scans from the comics, not a collected edition. Got the 2000AD covers mixed in with the story and I'll leave them in.
This story takes place when Anderson is beginning to doubt herself and Justice Department in general. Her best friend in PSI Division, Corey, has just killed herself and things are going on a downward spiral, which results her her leaving the Judges (which they're not happy with) and traipsing out amongst the stars for a while on a journey of self discovery.
Expect lots of Debbie Harry pics used as references for the depiction of Judge Cassandra Anderson. Ranson did that a lot with his art though he's good enough to not make it look like he's tracing outright like certain DC/Marvel guys are known for doing. Check out another 2000AD story, The Button Man, written by John Wagner for Ranson's greatest work.
Orlokk escaped MC1 in an earlier Anderson story "Hour of the Wolf". He's been on an anti-MC1 crusade since then, to avenge Dredd's nuking of East Meg One.
Pat Mills also uses the Agartha legends for his Nemesis/ABC Warriors: The Black Hole stories. All tunnels and hidden kingdoms beneath the Earth's surface.
