Clark is not God.
He has his own life to live.
Superman helps when he can.
Of course saving someone and giving them hope is a good use of Superman's time. There's other places he could be, but they're all equally important.
Bet that's what the suicidal kid thought too.
You are missing the point if you think like this
Did you write the fucking story? What place do you have to make this "critique"?
>superman shouldn't be saving someone's life
>Clark is not God.
Of course not. He's Jesus.
wow
Saving anybody is a waste of Supermans time. He should devote himself to turning a massive handcrank, producing vast amounts of free, clean electricity for the people of earth.
The fact you have to ask this proves you don't understand superman, any good deed is a good use of his time, that's his whole philosophy
>notices someone in trouble when no one else does
>cares so much that he knows her situation, name, and what thoughts are driving her to suicide
>gets to her in time using his powers
>saves her life with warmth, strength, and reassurance
I'd tell you to kill yourself but Superman would do everything he can to save you too.
I guess no one is allowed to criticize anything.
An innocent woman was getting gangraped in some Muslim shithole at the same time.
>Your doctor really did get held up again
How would he know that?
Speaking of Superman's time do you ever think he's in a meeting at the daily planet and hears a rape happening miles away but chooses not to do anything about it because Perry White will get pissed at him if he misses anymore daily standups?
>I guess no one is allowed to criticize anything.
Yes.
Stop making shit up.
earlier in the comic, he noticed her doctor on the phone to her
After the year he'd just had, he needed the downtime.
Nope. That's the ultimate tragedy of a hero who can save anyone, but can't save everyone. Every time Superman attends some kid's birthday party he's making the conscious choice to ignore some building fire on the other side of the world. Every 6 seconds a child dies of a preventable illness somewhere, if he spends an hour in his Clark Kent persona instead of using superspeed to deliver medical supplies or move people to hospitals then he's making the choice to condemn hundreds to die.
