Was she a good protagonist?
She-Ra
No
Literally a self insert for her man hating, failed dyke, creator.
Then why is she drawn like a man?
No, she was one of the worst
I wanted to bang her. DId that count?
Have you seen Noelle stevenson recently?
Yes, in the original series
>Instant changes her allegiance in the first episode, never questions it past then
>We’re TOLD that Shadow Weaver spoiled her and doted on her so hard it gave Catra a complex, we’re SHOWN she acts like she barely even knows Shadow Weaver at all and they never have a single caring moment, not even Adora trying to talk to her post episode 1.
>Instant gets anything from a free room to pretty much being in charge of the army even though the Queen should distrust her.
>Gives up her powers in a seemingly character developing moment and then, uh… wants it, like really hard, and apparently just wanting something hard enough while making no effort to actually get that thing means she just gets her powers back, because. Never looked into it, never tried anything else, just stomped her feet like Veruka Salt and the universe just makes her She-Ra again contradicting literally every single solitary line of dialogue and visual on how those powers work.
>Never learns, grows, or faces any hard choice that isn’t instant flipped
Objectively from a storytelling standpoint she might be one of the worst action protagonists in the last 10 years. Pretty much the only one who changed as little and got as many instant work free handouts at the end was season 1 Korra
Was fine, the issues with the show lie in other places, although why did she ended up with her psychotic adopted sister/pet Catra is anyone guess.
way too fucking forgiving with pic related
>You want to be a good protagonist, but you need the bad pussy

I think her powers were never connected to the sword but they were a part of her all along or something along the lines.
The sword was meant to oppress and control her instead.
But the show makes it seem like it's power of love that makes her powers return.
She's adorable.
Wrong board user.

"Spoiled and doted" by Horde standards probably just meant Shadow Weaver didn't torment her as hard as the others. Like the time they were playing in the gem chamber and only Catra got chewed out for it
>we’re SHOWN she acts like she barely even knows Shadow Weaver at all and they never have a single caring moment, not even Adora trying to talk to her post episode 1
Yea that was pretty disappointing. Weirdly enough Shadow Weaver had more "maternal" moments with Catra
>Yea that was pretty disappointing. Weirdly enough Shadow Weaver had more "maternal" moments with Catra
This. Catra was Shadow Weaver's daughter through and through. She also took her lessons to heart the most
Not even a polack. It's just blatantly obvious that noel self inserts as she-ra
