With all the animation in the live action, this is really geared towards children. It should be an animated series instead of live action.

Probably because no one gave a shit about Captain Marvel, so they aren't interested in her offshoot.

The show has no "oh shit" moment yet. It's not must-see TV, it's just a well done coming of age story. You want people to tune in in droves, you've got to have some really cool setpiece they can't afford to miss.

That's the main thing I disliked, I went in hoping to see some big stretchy hands pounding on people, instead I got this shitty ass green lantern power, and we all know how much we all love green lantern.

1. Realistic stretchy flesh would be hard to make look good on a TV budget, even with Marvel money
2. They want to visually tie her powers in to Captain Marvel more, so now it's energy.
3. They don't want her overshadowing Mr. Fantastic when the F4 movie comes around.

Of course they're invading your privacy. There's no such thing as a company that doesn't invade your privacy to learn everything about you and target ads to you or sell your information to the highest bidder after the year 2000. There are no moral companies that respect you or your privacy. That said, them getting viewership ratings ISN'T an invasion of privacy. You give Disney money in return for the privilege to access their servers and view specific pieces of content on a device that you own. Them seeing which portions of THEIR content you're viewing using the subscription that you buy from THEM isn't invading your privacy, and you're stupid if you think that it is. If you don't want them to know what parts of their content you're requesting permission to see on their servers, then pirate it from somewhere else and get your privacy that way.
