not really we see many powerful characters with his power think inque or luffy

I mean yeah some character can show how powerful stretching/shapeshifting is but it still doesn't get much respect compared to other abilities. There was an episode of TTG where Raven gives the team "lame and useless" powers and Plastic Man's powers were lumped in there and given to Starfire.
