It really confuses me that they decided against releasing this episode in this batch, it feels like they've had this one in store for quite a while now.

We don't really know how much of the leaked promotional grabs were from 100% finished episodes.
For all we know they animated the slip-and-slide thing first and thought "damn that's cute, screenshot it and throw it into the promo folder" before finishing a completely different episode.
Sliding on the ground with water everywhere seems like the kind of thing that takes a lot more work and would get worked on early while stuff like walking and talking is basically copy-pasting from a list of templates.
