Make a gigachud character everyone is supposed to hate

>make a gigachud character everyone is supposed to hate

It's impossible to make a Jensen Ackles character unlikeable. He could be a literal goose stepping Nazi and hoes will still love him.

i though it was a gachimuchi i need to get new glasses

Was that really the intent? It’s been pretty clear the Supes are the part the writers are more interested in. While they’re bad people that often represent talking points the writers disagree with, they still want them to be entertaining. At least with the ones that are actual characters. It was noticeable that Blue Hawk was just meant to be annoying and disposable, while Solider Boy gets to do fun shit like the music video.

lol

Yeah, but we also have literally half the fanbase having breakdowns because they didn't realise they were supposed to dislike the Aryan superman and the literal fucking nazi.

That said, Jensen Ackles is literally one of the most likable actors I've ever seen. I'll watch him in anything and I don't care

Is he? I mean, he's definitely an asshole but it's not like they're depicting him in a totally one-sided light. He legitimately seems to care about the greater good and feels guilty about his unintended collateral damage. He's on more of an A-Train level of dickishness as opposed to a Homelander/Stormfront/Blue Hawk level.

He's an asshole in that he's still mostly stuck in a 1920s mindset of 'minorities suck and don't deserve much respect', but in the setting of The Boys, that's practically a minor character flaw. Soldier Boy has an actual, decent moral core, and him finding out what kind of monster Homelander is sets him off bigtime. Don't count on him surviving much longer, but I can see him getting some kind of 'he was an asshole, but he wasn't a fucking asshole' kind of sendoff.

So just like US Agent again?

>gigachud character everyone is supposed to hate
Where the fuck are you getting this from?

Who from what?

see
Fans of The Boys seem to have serious problems actually understanding The Boys. It's the weirdest fucking thing.

Okay? Again, where the fuck did you get this from, he does nothing that says "you are supposed to hate him"
He even has a sympathetic backstory

This season has been good. I will say I don't like how lazy they write the "in the right" characters. Starlight has been incredibly annoying this season, with her self righteousness. Also I think it is a mistake to make Homelander more like Trump , its lazy writing. Keep him unhinged and occasionally draw on the stupidity of the american people, but every scene this season has been a trump parody with him. It's too much.

Solider Boy so far has been very well acted which is par for the course on the bad guys in this show. Showrunners hopefully understand that no one gives a shit about Starlight's emotional journey. We just want to see depraved shit and how off the rails Homelander can get. It's awesome seeing someone with God like powers have a temper tantrum.

See the part where people are looking at the show and misinterpreting the fuck out of everything, dumbass.

So you're saying OP is stupid then? For thinking he's supposed to be hated for some reason?
Yeah I agree with that

If the misunderstanding is that people don't realize that Butcher is right while still being wrong than yes they are. I think you might be misunderstanding the point if not.

why is his voice so sexy
I don't remember him sounding so deep in supernatural, did I just become gayer or is he doing a different voice now?

He's more 1960's
Doesn't seem racist, he liked Bill Cosby afterall and thought Noir would have his back.
His problem according to the writers is over-compensation of masculinity.

Funny how the MCU sinergy actually improved the story, I hope Invincible develop an Avengers team as well.

>and thought Noir would have his back.
He knows what Noir looks like?
