It actually seems like the actual problem is that we've gone from "those experiments in the 1960s where people thought they were executing criminals were fucked up" to "what do you mean you don't want to execute criminals for money?", meaning that society has fundamentally degenerated.
This does kinda make sense though. One of the most popularized symptoms of autism is an inability to read social cues, right? So it stands to reason they'd be less able to virtue signal based on social situation. You have to be able to read the room in order to be two faced.

The study itself might be bullshit, but it exist nevertheless and the author of this comic did not made that study.

That is an idea that has some merit and could certainly be further explored. It would be interesting if the general result to any test of ethics was different, although I do not expect the results to change much.
If that's true, that sounds mildly interesting.
I hate the way the comic is told though. The art and the narration are so unappealing and stereotypical.
