Luna's such a weird guy and his comics are always so full of resentment. And yeah, you've got a point. Look at the dude in this comic too, apparently he managed to get over his war trauma enough to end up married to an Asian woman. (Although knowing Luna, I'm guessing it's supposed to be seen as a bad thing. It's probably some kind of commentary like "Asian women should not date non-Asian men".)

If you look at the first panel, the GI in the background is kidnappinf a bound woman (whose family the guy in the foreground presumably killed). It's essentially implying that the wife and kid are just another aspect of imperial conquest and rape.

Huh, I failed to pay attention to that. I interpreted the family photo that way because Luna's comics frequently show that he doesn't like Asian women dating outside their own ethnicity, and he wants Asians to unite together against white people.
