Zoomers are growing up and getting nostalgic for Michael Bay. Just like a few years ago there was a wave of history revisionism for 2000s capes from nostalgic millenials about how Daredevil and Catwoman were actually based and the best cape movies ever. Now nostalgic zoomers are gonna be revising history anew, claiming that Michael Bay movies were actually great all along. In 10 years, people will be unironically praising Suicide Squad and Morbius as underappreciated masterpieces. You love to see it.

The second one is like a movie of 1987 TMNT, and introduces most of the core cast of that cartoon, but it's still stuck with the version of the Turtles from the first movie. It's the better of the two, and a lot more fun, but it bombed because nobody wanted a sequel to the 2014 movie.

The second is another in a long line of course-correcting sequel movie that try to be more faithful to the source, see also Guyver Dark Hero, GI Joe Retaliation, Punisher War Zone, and a few others. Its decent, and honestly a better TMNT movie than the second and third 90's movies.
