With your hands

I wish I could draw like that

You would want to start by figuring out what he studied when learning to draw, then study that in additions to his works.

First, unlock your jaw

What

Credit goes to whoever was in charge of the color palettes and background art. Those were usually fine even in the worse Bluth movies.

All Dogs and Anastasia have the best background art in my opinion, especially in Anastasia during the Once Upon a December scene

you are a completely different person, find your own style. he can be your inspiration and you can take cues from his work, but you'll never be able to be don bluth.

lean on your drawing hand while drawing til it hurts

>hands start to bleed from the effort

I've attempted it for my own thing.
Eye shape nearly always dictates where the character lands on the morality scale. Round = Good, Oval/semi circle = Evil, he also likes to use eye shadow for those evil character too, but that's not always the case (Jeremy Crow is someone who springs to mind who doesn't follow that trend)
Larger, protruding bottom lip for non-human characters
Extremely expressive eyes/eyebrows
The style has an overall roundness to it, he doesn't really use hard corners or angles for any of his character designs. Even the hair and fur ends in curves rather than points most of the time.

is the girl in the top right picture playing Red Rocket?

something don bluth can really do well that no other westerner bothers anymore is expressions, don bluth can make such fluid expressions whenever a character talks you can already tell what that character is feeling or thinking based on the way it expresses the words

learn to draw like yourself first
