Will modern shows like The Owl House spark inspiration in a new generation of artists, writers, and animators?

I'm sure they will, but god I hope not
Nepotism dictates no, most people who get to join the industry and especially get in high places either know people or have support somewhere, Dana didn't get a show because her idea was fucking A but rather because she seemed competent enough, had a relationship with Hirsch and herself had some online following; Rebbeca Sugar is another example of that nepotism at action, with experienced showrunners dying, retiring or just getting out of touch (namely McCracken) companies are forced to leave their box and go after new talent, but what if that one guy who made a really good show can point you to someone who he deems to be competent, after all he worked with that someone for years and his show was really beloved and lucrative wasn't it?
No.
No. It's just a Harry Potter, Gravity Falls and Little Witch Academy ripoff with lesbians. There is nothing to take inspiration from.
Steven universe
unfortunately yes that's how it works
Owl house fans obsession with wanting to see gay 14-year-olds is creepy.
yeah its one of those cartoons that made me more interested in learning how to write and draw
TOH is uninspiring, didn't get that much revenue to the company, only got to be relevant because of Twitter and has people swearing that it's good, so basically Morbius.
>Will modern shows like The Owl House spark inspiration in a new generation of artists, writers, and animators?
you mean porn? because there is a lot of porn.
Owl house fans are all 14 years old. Either physically or mentally, so it kinda makes sense
>boomer parents wont let me watch zoomer lesbian cartoon
im pretty sure they wouldnt give 0 fucks if their grown ass adult of a kid watches cartoons
It also helps Hirsch and many others are from Los Angeles, so a career in entertainment isn't looked down upon.
They probably think watching any cartoon is gay.
Not really because the audience are mostly 20s something rather than children
unless its classic cartoons
Somewhat
Twitter niggers and tumblr scum aren't the new generations, Anglo nigger. It's nothing but your small Anglo circlejerk.
Yeah. It's actually really weird because Owl House genuinely takes inspiration from a lot of things for the art direction and designs but the world building is mostly "real world, but quirky".
Belos takes inspiration from a LOT of different mythological and folkloric figures, but his design is just...there. Owl House echoes and brings to mind a lot of stuff but never really dips its toes any deeper with what it's taking inspiration from. Kinda odd considering how much of a weeb and lore geek Dana is.
>living with your parents
>watching cartoons
I sincerely hope this person's a child
made for corruption
Kids don't watch The Owl House so no
