Congress gonna get a lot of money in 2024.

The hell the mouse will let this happen. The mouses Jewish hands will strangle the gop and the dems with cash first then fear until they have copyright of Mikey until perpetuity.

>Blue Beetle 2035

They're already public domain, you didn't know that?

I can't wait to make hundreds of edgy horror films off those characters

>Oswald next year

Is this the only defense you mouse shills have? Anything to lick corporate boot.

How is he shilling the mouse you fucking imbecile?

That's not how public domain works, sheep nigger. Characters are independent of the works of which they originated in.

Thank God! It's time for it to be under our control, not dirty corporations! Until then, boycott the evil and today's corrupt company called Disney! Boycott Disney! Boycott!

Faggots like him keep posting this shitty boring nothing horror movie based on Pooh as a reason to why copyright is necessary and should be in the hands of the "right people". There's been threads about this numerous times. It's just a indie horror movie but mouse shills are using it as "look if we don't keep licking the mouse boot and keep giving them copyright protection then bad things like this horror movie will happen! We have to let Disney keep the copyright!". It's pathetic.

So you assume he meant the opposite of what he said and are getting butthurt about it? You belong on Twitter. Not even Reddit is full of this much horse shit.

>Batman 2035

DC is done once that happens.

Who gives a fuck about an indie horror movie. Ill take a thousand of these shitty horror movies if it meant that corporations can come for your money and career cuz you make a thing that is vaguely similar to an IP they own. But fuck you mouse shill, you already know that.

Idiot, the point of that pic is that years ago, there were dumb corporate shills going "NO WAY IS DISNEY GOING TO LET POOH GO IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN", just like the ones in this thread

Not really, all you'd get is the early stuff. Sherlock Holmes movies/shows can't even have Sherlock show that he cares without the owners of the rights of the last story/stories getting a paycheck, because it's in one of those stories that Sherlock really cries out in fear and anger when he thinks Watson has been killed and so they argue that all the stories before then did not have a Sherlock that felt emotions and actually loved his friend Watson. So with Batman you wouldn't be able to even make allusions to basically anything people actually care about when it comes to Batman.

That is exactly how that works.

>>Blue Beetle 2035

All the Golden Age Blue Beetle comics have been public domain since the 60s and people have known this since like the late 00s.
Plus a bunch of Charlton Silver Age Blue Beetles may actually be public domain due to incorrect copyright notices and no record of copyright registration.

Disney doesn't really have the time it'd need to extend copyright again in time to keep Mickey from falling into the Public Domain, they probably decided that as annoying as Mickey being PD will be for them, it's just not worth the bad PR trying to extend the Copyright laws would bring them in this day and age, plus they probably also realized that due to Trademarks never expiring as long as they're actively used that they will still have plenty of control over Mickey even once his earliest stuff hits the Public Domain

>Plus a bunch of Charlton Silver Age Blue Beetles may actually be public domain due to incorrect copyright notices and no record of copyright registration.
yup, indeed most of Charlton's Silver Age superheroes are probably Public Domain for similar reasons

>The Phantom
Finally, in ten years time my Phantom screenplay that actually represents the comics and characters well will see the light of day.

I refuse to believe you are autistic enough to not understand the sarcasm of
