Because it's stupid. The whole point of Your Mom jokes is that you're insulting someone else's mom. The joke doesn't work when its about your mom but the humor from Muscle Man comes from the fact he is insulting his own mom, which is funny. Mordecai and Rigby were annoyed by this dumb subversion.
