That's it, but there hasn't even been a single moment in time in which we've had both successful Batman movies and successful Superman movies running concurrently

Also slow buildup to a big crossover like avengers. But Marvel so thoroughly beat them to that, that even if they do get a good crossover justice league movie. People aren't going to give it the time of day and see it as the 'ripoff' movie of Marvel.

Ultimately it doesn't really matter. The movie is finished, aside from any extra shit they are shoving in, and will come out. Beyond that they probably don't need a Flash 2 anytime soon. I'm more curious how they are going to keep Aquaman 2 coherent if they are chopping all Herds scenes from it that they can.
