Is making a black lesbian character easy mode when it comes to making your product more diverse? To me it feels like the easiest, laziest thing to do and a lot of comics and cartoons go that way with either adapting characters or original characters. They either make them a black woman, a lesbian, or if they're feeling extra lazy a black lesbian. But where are the Asian Lesbians? The Asian Bisexual Men? The Black Gay Men? Bisexual Hispanic Women? It feels like its just black lesbians everywhere now, or just black women in general.

How exhausting is it to obsess over shit like this on a daily basis?

Why are americans so fat? I 've seen fat people all over the world , but americans are their own category. They seem to be carved out of pure lard.

Lots of commercial junk food
High in calories and trans fats

Most Americans are poor (and getting poorer) and healthy food is expensive.

How exhausting is it to try to gaslight people every time you see a thread like this and come in to post your bullshit in them?

Sedentary lifestyle built around cars that requires minimal walking, the celebration of gluttony with holidays like Thanks Giving and the Super Bowl, high calorie low substance food that creates a never ending hunger perpetrating a cycle of overeating, and individuals too proud to admit they have a problem.

Ok the rest make sense except Annie
We’ve had live action movie ginger Annie before

So it's not about replacing whites?
The industry just hates gingers with passion?

Does this even matter?

Yeah it's weird. Other countries, you can see how people let themselves go, with Americans is as if the fatness is built from the get go. There's just no healthy habits that can cure the Amerifat.

>Asian Lesbians?
I'm pretty sure Awkwafina played at least one and this board sperged out about that too.

We put high fructose corn syrup in everything because otherwise we'd have to stop paying rural americans and the conglomerates they work for huge subsidies and lose their votes and then those black lesbians OP hates so much might hold hands in public.

does what matter? It seems to matter to you, that's why you're in this thread posting about it.
I dunno if they hate gingers, but they seem to like recasting them with black people
Sure you can say it makes sense. What is strange is the casting never goes the other way. They never cast fictional black characters with white actors. They cast historical figures like Anne Bolyn with black actors but they will never cast Rosa Parks or Malcolm X with a white actor. Why does the "race blind" casting only go one way? It's not really race blind casting is it?

Asian women are allowed to be lesbians but only in netflix/HBO shit targeted at rich white people. Asians in Asian media are not allowed to be lesbian. This is haram and frowned upon.

A better question is, why do Americans feel the need to force their LGBTQ+ cultural values on to cultures and countries that don't want it? If you actually respect other races and cultures, then respect them when they tell you they don't want LGBTQ+ propaganda in their entertainment media.

>does what matter? It seems to matter to you, that's why you're in this thread posting about it.
But did it matter enough to make this thread? I'm trying to understand OP's point of view.

execs have been doubling up minorities for decades

>Why does the "race blind" casting only go one way?
Because you're obsessed with hating blacks and don't notice when it goes the other ways. Thinking of just Any Forums related examples:
Wanted - Angelina Jolie plays Fox, a character visually based on Halle Berry (Any Forums says this doesn't count because they changed more things too.)
Spawn - Terry Fitzgerald, the man Spawn's widow remarries, was changed from black to white.
The Dark Knight Rises - Latino Luchadore mask wearing Bane is played by white British Tom Hardy. Chinese/Arab Talia Al Ghul is played by white french Marion Cotillard, which is of course the result of casting Irish Liam Neeson as Arab/Chinese Ra's Al Ghul.
Days of Future Past and New Mutants - Afro-Brazilian Sunspot, who has "was discriminated for being dark skinned" as part of his backstory in the comics, is played by white latino actors Adan Canto and Henry Zaga, respectively.
Doctor Strange - Tilda Swinton as the formerly Tibetan Ancient One (which "doesn't count" because it was to pander to China)
Wonder Woman - Doctor Poison went from being a Japanese princess to Turkish.
Iron Man - Yinsen goes from being Vietnamese to Arab
The Last Airbender - Literally the entire cast.

Because Americans operate on the same hyprocritical principles as the federation from Star Trek does: we accept everyone, as long as you conform to our standards of normality and don't make much noise about the shit you got from your own culture that may disrupt us getting along so nicely. Basically they are the Borg with extra steps.

Americans don't respect anything, not even themselves.

Exactly. All this LGBTQ+ forced indoctrination under the guise of tolerance is just Borg Assimilation with extra steps. They are only loving and tolerant towards people who think and believe exactly what they do.

Name some examples of black historic figures cast as white people.

The only one I can think of is Ben Kingsley as Ghandi, but Sir Ben Kingsley is half Indian and his real name is Krishna Pandit Bhanji

>Name some examples of black historic figures cast as white people.
No. I'm not engaging with your constant goalpost moving. Take your L and shut up.

Why does race blind casting only ever go one way?

Europe and Australia operate on the same level

You have described the mentality essentially every ideology, political faction and group on the planet takes to other factions

>Latino Luchadore mask wearing Bane is played by white British Tom Hardy.
Bane only became a latino luchadore in modern cartoon iterations of the character that came out after Dark Knight Rises. Bane was racebent from white arab guy in to a hispanic latino from Central America.

Yeah, as subsidiaries of America.

>You have described the mentality essentially every ideology, political faction and group on the planet takes to other factions
In America, fundamentalist Muslims, Amish and LGBTQ anus worshiping atheists all live and coexist in the same place.

In Afghanistan, LGBTQ+ anus worshiping atheists are executed for degeneracy, and you get discriminated against in society if you aren't Muslim.

Both cultures are equally valid and deserve the right to exist as they want to.

USA globohomos for some reason feel the need to force their homo faggotry on every country they deliver democracy to and bomb, almost like LGBTQ+agenda is a psy op used to weaken a culture and soften it up for invasion or something.

EU is basically an American client state and EU is a 5 Eyes Satellite state. It is all the same NATO brand of globohomo "democracy and freedom"

The nations that reject the globohomo faggot agenda the most always happen to be USA's biggest enemies. In North Korea, gays and feminists are executed publicly in stadiums still.

>Name some examples of black historic figures cast as white people

Angelina Jolie As Mariane Pearl in a Mighty Heart. Joseph Fiennes as Michael Jackson in Elizabeth, Michael and Marlon. Mena Suvari as Chante Mallard in Stuck. William Mapother as Sgt. Jason Thomas in World Trade Center. In the 90s a studio actually executive wanted to cast Julia Roberts as Harriet fucking Tubman.

>In the 90s a studio actually executive wanted to cast Julia Roberts as Harriet fucking Tubman.
If Anne Bolyn can be black what is so bad about Harriet Tubman being played by a white? Don't you believe in race blind casting, tolerance and acceptance, or does that belief only go one way?

Already proved it doesn't. Now you're saying those examples don't count because they're not historical figures.
>Bane only became a latino luchadore in modern cartoon iterations of the character that came out after Dark Knight Rises.
Bane was a latino luchadore born and raised in the south american Santa Prisca prison in his very first appearance in 1993. The Dark Knight rises came out 19 years later in 2012.
This is your brain on white copium.

Fuck, those people even put sugar into their bread.
And use corn syrup instead of sugar in sweet drinks. That's fuckin disgusting. I once tried an imported hamburglar coke...it tasted like i was sipping on sweet oil, bleghh...

Because historically most popular fiction keeps being about white people, and primarily only white characters heavy fiction gets adapted and greenlighted. So if you want actual equality in acting jobs, you need blind casting when the role doesn't require specific ethnicity. White characters are the predominant default ethnicity without anything about the story actually requiring them to be white, so it's very easy to cast any ethnicity in the role without it being a bad change.

Or do you think it was unforgivable that Tarantino cast Pam Grier as Jackie Brown, despite the character being a blonde white woman in the novel?

You forgot about Cyclone...
