It will always crack me up how DB put so much money into Harley and Jinx just for it to absolutely suck dick, but it's also weird because the animator did some good work before like Mickey vs Yoda and Kakashi vs Obi

Here or in general? I mean, here people have been complaining about too many marvel/DC matches for the past two years, it figures no one would like it, plus both having better matchups in their eyes too. On YouTube it seems to be doing OK with close to 1 mil in the first 24 hours, the first 2 episodes are yet to crack 2 mil despite being out for 2-3 months now.
They aren't immune to making some retarded picks, but I think the threads underestimate how well they know their audience because they seem to know what their bigger hitters will be and tend to nail it pretty well (see Homelander VS Omni-Man, which everyone here hated them doing but was very well received by YT).
Likewise I think the kinda "alternative" crowd here and the more invested fans of the show will appreciate this next match, but I could see it (relatively) tanking like fuck on YouTube. Then again, it could attract a lot of casual interest on the basis of it just being super left field too. Remains to be seen.

It would have been infinitely more interesting than Magneto destroying some over the counter psionic that wouldn't even be considered remotely impressive in Marvel. At least Accelerator would have brought the light novel crazies out of the woodwork. No one had any illusions as to Tetsuo winning.

Omni-Man vs HL did good for three reasons
1. They actually put effort into the animation
2. Both shows were getting popular at the time, and they actually used that to their advantage
3. People fucking hate HL and wanted him to die

Genuinely I doubt it. People know who Hercules is and a LOT of people know how influential Wu-Kong was, stack that on top of people already enjoying the MU just from the teaser alone AND people wanting newer franchises to be shown, I think it's going to end up doing pretty well
