Cancellation was the best thing that happened to this show. The first season was a meandering, poorly paced, unfocused mess, dragging along and stretching out what few engaging storylines it had in terms of characters or the plot.
Show only gets one more season, and now finally the writers actually start making the episodes fun and interesting, having actual developments occur that get built up and followed on in a timely manner.
