Hunchback of Notre Dame thread? Hunchback of Notre Dame thread!

Fuck off Evil Dead hater

If Disney have adapted Les Miserables it would have added at least five comic relief characters, turned Javert into a generic villain, Cosette would a strong you go girl type of character and it would have ended with Jean Valjean alive and living happily ever aftet. And there would be lots of blatant anachronisms.

Dr. Strange at it's best was dark fantasy masquerading as capeshit. It's why he mostly crossed over with horror titles like Son of Satan, or Dracula in meaningful ways or why whenever he showed up the story also got railroaded into horror.
It was also very 60s-70s and was made during the lovecraft, occult, parapsychology boom. No one, not even scientists was sure just what exactly what Quantum Physics or the human mind could do, but there was an idea that one day we may understand it with science, including shit likes ghosts and witchcraft. The magick of the ancients was indeed a science but not a material one, or at least one that was just as much one of the mind as of technology. Nowadays it's either, 'it's magic fuck science and rationalism', or 'it's nuts and bolts machines/biology' but both don't capture that old retro parapsychology feel a lot of Marvel Horror titles had.
To divorce Strange from that and put him into the MCU and force him into center stage is a bad idea in general. Because even pre MCU you couldn't have a story about the Bible being real, but God actually being a time travelling wizard from the year 3000 in the Avengers. It ties him down and forces him to be a traditional superhero instead of this weird wizard investigator.

You have a be a toddler to think Erectile Dead is scary, it’s a comedy.

The first one is, the second one is like a blend of funny and scary, and AOD is just fun.

Evil Dead II is a better movie than the entire Disney catalog.

>it’s a comedy.
Yeah but it's a great comedy

A movie that is unintentionally funny is not a great comedy. It's not even good comedy. It's just bad.

what would be the wacky mascot though, the silverware would be enchanted and become a character?

>he thinks Evil Dead wasn't trying to be funny
get out underage

>didn’t watch the Director’s Cut where Dr. Strange suddenly grows a swastika on his chest after getting his third eye

It WAS intentional you brainless twit.

Neither movie had "It's Morbin' Time" so they both suck.
